When you make a lot of smallish circular parts, it makes sense to have a convenient way to mark the center. While making my wooden step pulleys, I though it was as good a time as any to put one together.

I started with a piece of 1/4″ plywood, 10″ square and made a diagonal cut through neasrly to the other corner:

This edge of this cut needs to line up with the point of the corner of the plywood.

Next, a stop cut with the blade set to 1-1/4″ fron the blade:

Without changing the fence distance, I cut two strips of plywood 1-1/4″ wide to glue on. Clamped it up and let it dry.
